FCA joins Ford, Honda in injecting manufacturing funds into Canada

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has commenced work on upgrading its Windsor, Ontario facility, to prepare for the production of a future model

At the end of November 2014, light vehicle sales in Canada stood at 1,718,211 units, 5.4% higher than the 1,630,076 passenger cars, SUVs and pick-ups sold in the country during the January-November 2013 period. The market was carried by the light truck segment with its 10.3% increase over the 11-month period, offsetting the passenger car segment's 0.7% decline.
