Sergio Marchionne's plans for a combined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has made it through shareholder opposition by a margin of €37m (US$47.9m). The move to relocate corporate headquarters to the Netherlands, shift the financial base to the UK and launch a primary stock listing in the US was approved by shareholders on 1 August, but the opponents to the move threatened to throw a spanner in the works.
