Despite contracting market, OEMs continue to expand Russia capacity

On the one hand, the Russian automotive market has continued to contract for a while now, with analysts predicting bleak outlooks for the market, at least in the medium term. These are the result of a combination of factors, such as an economic slowdown, the geopolitical situation as a result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, falling oil prices and the declining rouble.
