As the sales of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and pure electric vehicles (EVs) increase, and the number of models offered grows, so too do the new opportunities within various sectors of the supply chain.
One area which has to date remained reasonably understated is the tyre market. EVs face the challenge of operating within lower ranges compared to conventionally propelled cars with gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines that can easily travel long distances.
