The European light vehicle market may have ended last year at the lowest level seen since 1996, but it has been on a decided upswing over the past few months. "The rate of decline reduced then reversed as the year progressed, with an 8.4% year-on-year drop in Q12013 improving to a 3.5% increase in Q4 2013," notes author Jonathan Storey in the Automotive World report "Europe's light vehicle market: Prospects to 2018".
