Windsor plant shutdown could hit FCA sales

As FCA starts work on upgrading its Windsor assembly plant, one of the concerns that will likely play on its mind is whether it has enough minivan inventories to tide it through the 14 weeks that the plant will be shutdown

In the last week of 2014, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced the start of work on the expansion of its assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario. The initial project is primarily to prepare the plant for production of a new Chrysler model, the next generation of the Town & Country minivan.
