Elio Motors has been gearing up for the launch of its first model, an eco-friendly three-wheeler, two-seater with a price tag of US$6,800. While several industry watchers have voiced scepticism regarding the model's success in the market, company Chief Executive Paul Elio is looking beyond sales volume targets. He believes providing affordable personal mobility could revolutionise chronic unemployment and dramatically revitalise the economy.
