Daimler’s Zetsche talks expansion mode as European optimism spreads

As the European automotive industry continues to recover from the economic slump, OEMs are finally beginning to tentatively suggest that things are looking up. At a recent roundtable at the 84^th Geneva Motor Show, Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, discussed the OEM’s positive outlook for the coming decade, the success of its compact cars and coming out on top against the German Big Three.
