It’s crunch time as VW deadlines approach

Volkswagen is due to announce a potential agreement with US regulators regarding a fix for the more than 500,000 vehicles impacted by the defeat device scandal. A California judge had previously set the OEM a deadline of 21 April to come up with a resolution to the situation - an extension from a previously set target of 24 March. Some of the vehicles emit NOx levels up to 40 times above legal limits.
