In the transition towards autonomous driving, the importance of effective sensor technology cannot be understated. Replacing a human driver with technology means replacing their vision too, so a functioning self-driving vehicle needs to be able to ‘see’ everything around it, from other vehicles to pedestrians and cyclists.
