Could a ‘Netflix for EVs’ encourage drivers into plug-in cars?

Already growing in popularity, vehicle subscriptions could be the ideal way to promote EVs, writes Celeste Dooley

The landscape of personal vehicle ownership is in a state of transformation. A rise in innovative subscription models has contributed to this change, including Book by Cadillac, Care by Volvo, Porsche Passport and Mercedes-Benz Collection. Subscription services seek to remove some of the upfront costs of buying a vehicle, as well as offering a degree of flexibility unavailable to consumers with vehicle ownership commitments.
