Today’s cars are more than modes of transportation; they are complex, interconnected computer networks, no different to a large organisation’s IT infrastructure. Whether a manufacturer plans to design an autonomous vehicle, connect a voice assistant, or enhance a vehicle's functioning, cyber security and data privacy need to be prioritised.
