COMMENT: Monetising future mobility needs more than just a change of gear

ZF has thrown its hat into the ring as a future mobility supplier. Martin Kahl heard company execs discuss the implications for this 100+ year old company

Mobility: How do you define it? And how do you make money from it? Anyone with answers to these questions is already ahead of the game. Anyone who wants to even be in the game needs to get creative and develop potential solutions – fast.

Monetising mobility is a curious notion; much of the focus around mobility is less about making money, and more about efficiency: better use of (commuters’) time and (providers’) resources, and less waste – all of which adds up to less money lost, if not more direct revenue generated.
