Brazil’s truck industry in 2014 – an analysis

Full-year truck and trailer sales data has been released by ANFAVEA and ANFIR and it points to a difficult 2014 for Brazil, and, as referenced in a recent opinion piece, a challenging 2015. In this article, we present production, sales and export data broken out from each of the five reporting segments – semi-light, light, medium, semi-heavy and heavy- for commercial vehicles, and sales and export data for both trailers and vehicle bodywork across a number of task applications.
