Bosch rejects whistleblowing suggestions, affirms faith in diesel

The supplier denies that it reported Fiat to the German authorities, and tells Xavier Boucherat about its continued confidence in diesel technology

Speaking at the company’s annual press conference, Volkmar Denner, Chair of the Board of Management at Bosch, responded to claims from German Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt that the supplier had alerted the government to Fiat’s use of defeat devices. At no point did Bosch reveal that Fiat was using a non-authorised device, he said.
