OEMs are looking to bring autonomous cars to the road, but gaining consumer acceptance remains a primary hindrance. Many drivers are not comfortable with handing over control to a computer, and others find existing semi-autonomous technologies difficult to work with. As things stand, this will not make for an easy sell at the dealership.
