Car design plays a big role in attracting consumers, and standing out in an increasingly crowded market is no easy feat. Buick is making a decent job of it nonetheless, grabbing a handful of design awards over the past few months, most recently for the Avista with the 'Most Significant' award at the 2016 North American Concept Vehicle Awards ceremony at the Concours d’Elegance of America in Plymouth, Michigan. According to Bryan Nesbitt, Executive Director of Buick Global Design, the momentum has been building up over the years.
