Algeria’s automotive manufacturing industry gets under way

After many years of strong automotive sales, the Algerian automotive market is going through a rough patch. This major downturn in Algeria has had an effect on certain global vehicle manufacturers, which have also been hit by declining sales in Egypt and Morocco. In the first half of this year, total industry volume in Algeria has declined by around 31%, compared with the first half of 2013.
