Viktor Klima has retired from the post of President and Chief Executive Officer, Volkswagen Argentina, having reached the age of 65. He has also stepped down as a member of the group’s board of management for the South America Region, and General Representative of Volkswagen AG.

Klima will continue to act as an advisor to the group following his retirement. Emilio Saenz, who succeeded Klima as the Chief Executive of Volkswagen Argentina in November 2011, has now taken over as President as well.

Klima has been with the Volkswagen Group since 2000, when he joined as the President of Volkswagen Argentina. In 2006, he was appointed a member of the group board of management for the South America Region, and General Representative of the group.

Emilio Saenz joined the company in 1989. Since November 2011, he has been Chief Executive and member of the board of management of Volkswagen Argentina.
