Volkswagen has signed contracts in Moscow concerning the construction of an engine plant in Kaluga, Russia, with a target production start date in 2015.
The approximately €250m (US$313m), 30,000sq-m facility will produce a 1.6-litre gasoline version of the EA211 engine generation, with a capacity of 150,000 units a year. The engine
