US: Mitsubishi to double Illinois output

Mitsubishi is reportedly planning to double production at its Normal plant in Illinois to 70,000 vehicles a year, reports Japanese newspaper the Nikkei. The plant has capacity for around 240,000 vehicles a year, but output has fallen to around the 30,000-mark in the last few years.
