India: Ceat to set up tyre plant in Bangladesh

Indian tyre manufacturer Ceat has announced plans to set up a tyre manufacturing plant in Bangladesh in the next 30 months. Press Trust of India, citing Ceat Managing Director Paras Chowdhary, said the Bangladesh plant project entails investment of between Rs2.4bn (US$48.48m) and Rs2.5bn.
