VW is showing at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit a two-seat E-Bugster EV based on the current Beetle platform. A 85kWh electric motor can propel the E-Bugster from 0 to 60mph in 10.9 seconds, with a range of at least 110 miles available from the car’s 28.3kWh lithium-ion batteries.
