According to a new report from Pike Research, Electric Vehicle Telematics, nearly 90% of battery-electric vehicles sold this year will include at least a basic telematics package, and that percentage is likely to grow to 94% by 2017. Annual revenue from worldwide sales of EV telematics will total US$1.4bn by 2017, Pike forecasts.
