BorgWarner is reportedly suing Cummins for patent infringement. Bloomberg reports that the company has charged Cummins with infringing on three patents for a titanium wheel used in engine turbochargers. Cast titanium compressor wheels are popular for commercial vehicle engine applications with high cyclical loads and higher charging pressures.
