Speaking together at a joint press conference at the 2011 IAA, Nissan chief executive officer Carlos Ghosn and Daimler chief executive officer Dieter Zetsche indicated that a future compact Infiniti model could be based on a Mercedes-Benz platform.
Ghosn also acknowledged that such a model, probably slated for introduction in 2014,
