Peugeot has signed an agreement with the Indian State of Gujarat regarding the establishment of a new production facility in Sanand. PSA previously operated a joint venture in India but withdrew from the market in 2001.
The French OEM now plans to invest around €650m (US$928.4m) in a 600 acre site,
