General Motors has confirmed earlier media reports that it plans to resume production operations in Indonesia, where it currently sells Chevrolet brand models. The OEM has outlined plans to invest US$150m to restart operations at its Bekasi manufacturing facility in West Java. The plant halted production in 2005.
