The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is investigating allegations of incidences of oil cooler line ruptures in model year 2005-06 Lotus Elise vehicles. An estimated 4,400 vehicles are covered under this investigation.
