BMW has appointed Ludwig Willisch as the new chief executive of its North American operations, effective 1 October, reports Automotive News. Since May 2009 Willisch has overseen the BMW Group’s European sales outside of Germany. In his new role, he takes over from Jim O'Donnell, who is retiring.
