Severstal’s US subsidiary has reportedly been approved for a government loan of up to US$730m. According to Reuters, Severstal applied for financing to expand its plant in Dearborn, Michigan to make lighter and stronger steel.
The Department of Energy granted the award to Severstal North America as part of its Advance
