Figures released by the Japan Automobile Importers Association show that sales of new imported vehicles in Japan rose 44% year-on-year in June, reaching 30,686 units. This is the 20th straight month of growth.
This figure includes those vehicles built in other countries by Japanese vehicle manufacturers, The Mainichi Daily News said.
