According to a statement from China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, Volvo Car plans to invest Yuan 4.58bn (US$708m) to construct a second plant in China, which will be located in the northeastern city of Daqing.
Reuters has reported that the statement indicates that the facility is scheduled to begin operations in 2013
