According to data published by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), inventories at vehicle manufacturers in the country dropped to the lowest level recorded so far in 2010, down to 504,100 units, in August.
Compared with numbers at the beginning of the month, inventories of passenger vehicles fell by 43,400
