BASF has voiced its intention to develop high-performance batteries for electric vehicles, Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) said.
Current technology is limited to batteries that can propel EVs to a distance of up to 150km per charge. These batteries are expensive as well, and can cost more than €10,000 (US$12,620).
