Indian automotive manufacturer Tata Motors has pulled out of a Baht 7bn (US$150m) eco-car project in Thailand. The company has not specified its reasons for exiting this project.
Media speculation, however, suggests that this could be due to the OEM's discontent with the unfavourable tax structure and the huge investment involved.
