Mazda intends to install brake override systems in all new models as a safety precaution, following the recent spate of unintended acceleration problems at its compatriot Toyota, reports Bloomberg. The system automatically reduces engine power when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are applied simultaneously under certain driving conditions.
