Daimler has announced that series production of the gullwing SLS AMG model is commencing at the Mercedes-Benz production facility in Sindelfingen, Germany. Sales of the €177,310 (including 19% VAT) (US$250,000) model will commence on 27 March 2010, its world premiere having been at the Frankfurt IAA in September 2009.
