Automotive World speaks to the company responsible for California’s clean Truck and Bus incentives

The California Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) was launched by Calstart in 2009, after the state’s governor Arnold Schwarzenegger created the Air Quality Improvement Programme (AQIP). Acting as a “cornerstone of the AQUIP,” the project looked to support the development and deployment of advanced technologies in the truck and bus segments that help California meet its air quality goals.
