Interview: Phil Swash, Chief Executive, GKN Driveline

With new CO2 targets on the horizon, huge industry-wide impetus in electrification and the rise of connected and autonomous cars, developments in the powertrain area are coming thick and fast. For Tier 1 supplier GKN, it is an exciting time to be in business.

As well as heading up GKN Driveline, Phil Swash is also a Member of the Executive Committee at GKN and Vice President of CLEPA (the European Association of Automotive Suppliers). Speaking to Automotive World, he described some of the current trends that are having a big impact on the industry.
