EVs are racking up the miles

Since the Chevrolet Volt launched in 2010, its owners have accumulated more than 500 million miles (800 million kilometres) in electric mode. The Volt is not the only EV racking up the miles, as the Nissan Leaf is nearly neck and neck with the Volt, and Tesla is not far behind with its Model S’ and Roadsters having driven around 350 million miles (500 million kilometres).
