Europe strengthens love affair with electric buses

The world’s cities are becoming increasingly populated and congested. Data from the World Health Organisation (WHO) suggests that the urban population in 2015 accounted for 54% of the total global population – a figure that could rise to 60% by 2030.

As a result, experts in the automotive industry have been racking their brains to develop mobility solutions that ease congestion without having a detrimental impact on air quality. One of the most promising solutions is the electric bus, the popularity of which is growing across Europe.
