COMMENT: Auto industry requests Brexit clarity, but seeks confirmation

If, as has been reported in the Financial Times, representatives of the UK’s automotive industry did indeed ask the Prime Minister for “urgent clarity” on the nature and shape of the UK’s future trading relationship with the European Union, then they would seem to be setting themselves up for a marked disappointment.
