Collaboration – ‘the golden rule’ for adopting sustainable transportation

Scania's 'Driving the Shift' event drew together experts to discuss key approaches to the development and deployment of low emission commercial vehicles. By Michael Nash

Scania hosted an event in Paris on 23 August 2016 called Driving the Shift – a name that aimed to reflect the current changes and trends that are evident across the transport industry. One of the primary trends is the adoption of sustainable forms of transportation.

As well as unveiling its latest product range, Scania brought together numerous automotive experts, industry stakeholders, academics and government spokespersons to engage in a conversation regarding the use of low emission and emission-free commercial vehicles (CVs). The consensus was that collaboration would be vital to the future of sustainable transport.
