US$84.5m project to turn Pennsylvania into CNG hub

A new project will see the construction of a CNG refuelling network across the state. By Michael Nash

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) recently announced a new US$84.5m project to design, build, finance, operate and maintain compressed natural gas (CNG) fuelling stations at 29 public transit agency sites through a 20-year public-private partnership (P3). A company called Trillium CNG will construct the stations over the next five years in a contract with Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores.
