France: Michelin appoints two new managing partners

Michelin has named Didier Miraton and Jean-Dominique Senard as non-general managing partners. The announcement was made at the company's annual shareholders meeting held on 11 May in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
Miraton currently serves as Michelin's head of Research and Industrial Performance. Senard is the chief financial officer of the company.
According to the supplier, the 18 resolutions submitted to the shareholders by Michel Rollier, managing partner of the group, were approved with a wide majority.
A dividend of €1.45 (US$1.96) per share was also approved by the shareholders, and will be paid out on 15 May 2007.
Headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, Michelin manufactures tyres and rubber products. The company announced that it was filing lawsuits in North Africa, North America and Europe against dealers selling Double Coin brand tyres.
