Europe: Hankook names new regional head

Hankook Tire has appointed Seung Do Jin, executive vice president of Korean headquarters in Seoul, to head of European headquarters. The change became effective at the start of May.
Jin succeeds Seung Hwa Suh, who was promoted to the position of global chief executive officer of Hankook in March 2007.
Jin joined Hankook Tire in 1989 as a senior manager in the Planning & Research department. In March 2006, he assumed the role of executive vice president at Hankook's Korean headquarters.
Hankook Tire has more than 12,000 employees in five regional headquarters, nine sales offices, 11 subsidiaries and five R&D centres and manufactures tyres for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. The company supplies tyres to Ford, Audi, General Motors and other OEMs.
