US: Cooper announces new director

Cooper Tire & Rubber has appointed Robert D Welding as a director of the company, with immediate effect.
Welding is currently president and chief executive officer of Federal Signal Corporation. He is also a member of Federal Signal's board of directors.
He joined Federal Signal in 2003. Prior to that, Welding was group president of the BorgWarner Driveline Group.
Recently, Cooper Tire appointed P Glenn Arbaugh as director of tyre applications development at its Asia Technical Center, temporarily located in Rongchen, Shandong Province, China.
Cooper Tire & Rubber designs, manufactures and markets tyres for passenger cars, trucks and motorcycles. The company has its headquarters in Findlay, Ohio, and has 63 manufacturing, sales, distribution, technical and design facilities.
