Toyota Motor Sales says it will unveil the Venza crossover on 14 January at the 2008 North American International Auto Show. It has released no images and only preliminary information.
The company calls the vehicle a 'crossover sedan', stating that it has seating for five, with an emphasis on "easy ingress and egress, a car-like ride and functional utility", it claims in a statement.
The Venza was designed and engineered in the US and will be assembled at the OEM's Georgetown plant in Kentucky from later in 2008.
