Colin Dodge, senior vice president, General Overseas Market, Nissan, believes this is an ideal time to launch the brand with the growing demand in South Korea for imported cars. Nissan expects to achieve results similar to Infiniti, which is one of the top luxury brands in the country.
Nissan Korea plans to use Infiniti's performance in the country as a guide to plan its strategy for Nissan and will set up a dedicated dealer network for the Nissan brand.
To begin with, the OEM will launch three models - the Rogue, a compact crossover, the Murano, a mid-sized crossover SUV and the Altima.
